Abstract

Background : Parents should pay attention to several aspects, including the fulfillment of the biomedical needs of affection and stimulation. Reflex is a stereotypical response to certain stimuli and is carried out without the involvement of the brain that controls consciousness. The first known reflex is the primitive reflex (fetal reflex), such as holding objects touched by the baby and sucking reflex, gradually taken over by the brain, developing in the first six months of life will be integrated into the postural reflex. The integration reflex will provide the basis for conscious control of posture, coordination and balance. The Crawling Process of Primitive Reflex, namely the specifications on the Grasp Reflex and Moro Reflex is very important. Along with the development of the age range and growth of children, Primitive Reflexes appear, one of which is the grasping Reflex or Grasp Reflex, the Grasp Reflex must be exhausted at the age of 6 months, this reflex will affect the child's fine motor ability, Moro Reflex is also declared positive if the child is symmetrical and simultaneously leads to abduction and extension of the upper and lower extremities. characteristics of respondents based on gender, age . The results of the analysis of respondents' characteristics. Statistical calculations using the Chi-Square test resulted in a p-value of 0.000. Because the p value <0.05, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus it can be concluded that there is a relationship between mororeflex and the ability to crawl. The results of the Contingency Coefficient (C) of 0.587 indicate that the level of relationship between the two variables is included in the medium category. Objectives: To determine whether or not there is a relationship between mororeflex and Grasp Reflex with the ability to crawl in children aged 4-6 months. Methods: This type of research is observational with a cross sectional approach. Results: Based on the results of data analysis There is a relationship between mororeflex and crawling ability. Statistical calculations using the Chi-Square test resulted in a p-value of 0.000. Because the p value < 0.05 and there is a relationship between Grasp Reflex and crawling ability. Statistical calculations using the Chi-Square test resulted in a p-value of 0.005. Because the p value < 0.05. Conclusion : there is a relationship between mororeflex and Grasp Reflex with crawling ability. The results of the Contingency Coefficient (C) of 0.587 indicate that the level of relationship between the two variables is included in the medium category.
