Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the effectiveness of Schoology-assisted learning in accounting education students of FKIP UMS. This research is an evaluative research with the CIPP evaluation model. This research was conducted at the Accounting Education FKIP UMS Surakarta. Sources of data were obtained from observations, documentation, and interviews with resource persons, namely the Chairperson and Secretary of the Accounting Education Study Program FKIP UMS, as well as students. The data validity used source triangulation. The data analysis technique used the CIPP evaluation model consisting of Context, Input, Process, and Product. The results showed that: The implementation of Schoology-assisted learning in the Accounting Education Study Program, FKIP UMS was running well. Judging from the context of the components, it is in accordance with the vision, mission, goals, and objectives of the accounting study program in particular and UMS in general, namely to become an Islamic Science and Technology Center for Education and Development and giving direction to change, developing science, technology and art as part of worship to Allah (integrated), which has an impact on the realization of the main community, as well as optimizing IT for institutional management. In terms of the input component, it shows that the lecturers, curriculum, facilities and infrastructure are in good category. Judging from the process components, the use of methods, media, materials, and learning time has gone well. In terms of product components, Schoology learning has a positive impact on improving learning outcomes, increasing knowledge, insight, and increasing the ability of information technology applications for students.
