Abstract
The purpose of this study is to describe the readiness of parents to use gadget media when accompanying children's online learning. This research is qualitative descriptive research. Data was collected through interviews and documentation. Interviews were used to collect data on the readiness of parents to use gadget media when accompanying children's online learning. Documentation in the form of files as data supporting the results of the interview. The results of this study indicate that: The readiness of parents in using gadget media when accompanying children's online learning at Kuncup Mekar Kindergarten, North Bengkulu, is that many parents are not ready with this online learning, because parents feel they are not ready and are still very new to accompanying their children. studying at home, there are many obstacles that parents face when assisting children's online learning, including, less stable networks, inadequate learning facilities, parents who do not understand the learning material, children who are difficult to guide. Not a few parents who do not have an android handpond so that makes learning less effective. Parents accompanying children to learn from home only convey simple material provided by the teacher via Whatsapp groups, parents are not given an understanding of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) by the teacher so that parents do not master the learning of Early Childhood Education (PAUD), and do not There are also few parents who have difficulty in operating gadgets and parents who have to work but also have to accompany their children to study at home.
