Abstract

The Qur’an is the word of God which is also a miracle that was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad through the intermediary of the angel Jibril, to be conveyed to mankind. The Qur’an is a way of life for Muslims. So as a Muslim must learn how to read the Qur’an properly and correctly, memorize it and practice it in everyday life. Many benefits will be obtained when memorizing the Qur’an. So in memorizing it requires hard work and high enthusiasm. Madrasah Hifdzul Qur’an (MHQ) Al-Huda Jampen is a madrasah that has a goal to make children the next generation of the Qur’an, so efforts are needed to realize these goals. The purpose of this study is to describe the efforts of MHQ Al-Huda Jampen in improving the quality and quantity of memorizing the Qur’an in children, to describe the quality and quantity of memorizing the Qur’an in children, and to describe factors that hinder the implementation of the program in MHQ Al-Huda Jampen. This research is a type of field research with a qualitative approach. The data collection uses interview, observation, and documentation methods. While the data analysis method used descriptive qualitative analysis, namely in the form of narratives or paragraphs and not in the form of numbers, through data collection, data reduction, and data display. Furthermore, conclusions are drawn using the deductive method, namely a way of thinking that departs from the theory and then it is matched with the data. Based on the analysis of data from the result of the study, it can be concluded that the efforts of MHQ Al-Huda Jampen in improving the quality and quantity of memorizing the Qur’an in children include providig learning to their teachers at the Arabic Language School (MIBA), providing guidance and direction to children to continue to be enthusiastic in memorizing, stay in touch with order TPQ, provide classical material to children, and give children time for games, outbound, sightseeing. The goal is that children are not bored, bored and so that children are enthusiastic about going to MHQ Al-Huda Jampen to learn to read and memorize the Qur’an.
