Abstract

This study analyzes how the production management process that has been undertaken by a Gethuk President Home Industry. The aims of this research are: (1) To describe the production planning in the Home Industry of Gethuk President. (2) Describe the production process system for gethuk processing at Gethuk President Home Industry. (3) Explain the constraints that affect production management at Gethuk Presiden Home Industry.phenomenological design. The data source in this study were taken through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses data collection, data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusion , and data verification. The results showed that: (1) prodution planning which consists of plaining for market demand estimates, planning for making completion schedules and planning which consists of planning for market demand estimates, planning for making completion facilities and planning for raw materials and production facilities in the management of the gethuk presiden production in thr village of Puro Karangmalang, Sragen. (2) The production process starts from (a) the stripping process (b) the sorting process and storage of raw materials (c) the processing prosess and (d) the product packaging process. (3) the obstacles faced are it is difficult to choose the appropriate quality of raw material by standardizing the quality of cassava raw materials that are good for production and delays in the arrival of raw materials from cassava farmers whose arrival does not match demand.
