Abstract

Background: Based on information on the Google Play Store, currently Mobile Legends is the number one popular online game in the game. Many people like to play Mobile Legends online games, both young and old, because this game has its own charm and can eliminate boredom. But many of them play games without taking into account the time even become game addicts. Many of them do not pay attention to the bad impact of the online game Mobile Legends on the thumb. Because they tend to use both thumbs when playing Mobile Legends online games, this can put players at risk for de quervain's syndrome if they play for a long time. Research Objectives: To determine the relationship between the duration of playing the online game Mobile Legends with de quervain's syndrome Method: This study used an observational method with a sample of 53 students of Physiotherapy at Muhammadiyah University, Surakarta. Results: From the results of the study, 36 people (67.9%) positively suffered from de Quervain's syndrome. Conclusion: There is a relationship between the duration of playing the online game Mobile Legends with de quervain's syndrome.
