Abstract

This Classroom Action Research was carried out with the aim of improving the learning outcomes of fifth graders at SD Negeri 02 Wonokeling, Karanganyar Regency. The research was conducted in 2 cycles and included 4 stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The research subjects were teachers and fifth grade students. Each cycle consisted of 3 actions, namely carrying out learning activities using the Problem Based Learning model, giving evaluation questions, providing motivation and reinforcement. To assess the results of the test, the researcher used observation sheets and test questions. The results showed that the learning outcomes of 15 students increased, namely in the 1st cycle of the 1st meeting the average score was 69.66 then at the 2nd meeting the average value was 72.3 then the 2nd cycle of the 3rd meeting the average score the average is 78.6 and the 2nd cycle of the 4th meeting has an average value of 79.3. learning completeness in the initial conditions is 33.3%. After the action was carried out, there was an increase in cycle 1, meeting 1, learning completeness 53.3%, then in cycle 1, meeting 2, learning completeness was 66.6%, then in cycle 2, meeting 3, learning completeness was 86.6% and cycle 2 was meeting. the 4th complete learning 100% with KKM 70 . The research shows that from the entire cycle that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the use of the Problem Based Learning learning model can improve the learning achievement of Class V students at the State Elementary School 02 Wonokeling, Karanganyar Regency for the 2020/2021 academic year. Based on the criteria and descriptions of the results of this study, it is appropriate to use it to help teachers who experience similar problems
