Abstract

This study aims to describe the principal's leadership on the performance of Aisyiyah 2 Plupuh Sragren Kindergarten teachers in 2020/2021. The research methodology uses a descriptive qualitative approach, namely information in the form of letters, not numbers. The informants here are principals and teachers. The key informants here are principals because every day they are directly involved with the activities of educators in the learning process at TK Aisyiyah 2 Plupuh Sragen in 2020/2021. Data collection techniques using interviews, interviews, observation, and documentation. Test the validity of the data using data triangulation. The results showed that; The principal's leadership on teacher performance is good because of the 8 indicators there are 7 indicators that have been implemented and 1 indicator that has not been implemented. exemplary behavior, building active and creative work, developing the teaching profession. As for the teacher's performance, all of the 5 indicators have been implemented, while the indicators are: preparing lesson plans, managing learning activities, implementing interpersonal relationships, conducting assessments, mastering academic studies. Thus, it can be concluded that the principal's leadership on teacher performance is a very good contribution to the progress of the quality of learning so that it can encourage the quality of education where the performance of educators is the key to success in the world of education.
