Abstract

A forklift is a lifting and carrier aircraft whose lifting motion (lift motion) can be obtained from hydraulic power. The hydraulic power used to lift the load is obtained from a hydraulic pump that is attached to the hydraulic system and is directly connected to the main engine speed. In a forklift hydraulic system as a means of transferring forces and motion. This transfer of force and motion uses liquid in the hydraulic system. Requires two main components, namely the generation of liquid flow and the use of liquid. The liquid generator is known as a pump, while the use of liquid can be in the form of a hydraulic cylinder. Stability is a balanced condition where when the vehicle is working or not working, so that it does not experience a situation that can cause the position of the vehicle to change its position (tipping forward or backward). The results of the calculation analysis on the forklift are, the forklift weight at a maximum load of 128,295.17 N. the load of each fork is 2500 kg, the counter weight is 5775.78 kg. the load on each of the front wheels is 3,286,335 kg. Total Center Gravity point at maximum loading. At an angle of 0˚ (2448.41, 1227.07), at an angle of 12˚ backward (2473.06, 1887.83), and at an angle of 6˚ forward (2433.76, 1825.45).
