Abstract

This study aims to describe the optimization of the online Civics learning process with a combination of the Google meet application system and Google classroom in class X SMA Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar PK Kartasura along with the obstacles and solutions. This study uses a qualitative description method. The subjects in this study were the principal, waka of the curriculum, PPKn teachers, class X students of SMA Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar PK Kartasura. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used interactive models through the stages of collecting, reducing, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Data validity used triangulation techniques or data collection methods and data sources. The indicators in this study include optimizing the process of delivering material, optimizing student participation, optimizing the online learning management process, and optimizing the evaluation process. The results showed that the optimization of the online Civics learning process with a combination of application systems at SMA Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar PK Kartasura had been running. This is because from the indicators compiled by the researcher, the school has made efforts so that teachers and students can optimize the two applications for the Civics learning process in achieving learning objectives. This can be seen from the participation of students in online learning and the management of online learning well. The obstacles are an unstable internet network, students are less controlled, late in submitting assignments, students are still cloudy about learning applications, do not work on questions, and require a lot of time to make questions. daily tests. The solution to the problem is by holding consultations and asking questions, making learning videos, online learning SOPs, tutorial videos on using learning applications, learning worksheets and making work-based evaluation tools. Based on this conclusion, it has implications for optimizing the optimization of the online Civics learning process with a combination of Google meet and Google classroom through online learning SOPs, so that the online learning management process can run effectively and efficiently during the current pandemic.
