Abstract

Marketing as a reflection of the development of a business and becomes the most important center point in business life. This study aims to describe the marketing characteristics of Garut Super chips in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic in Blangu Village. This research is a qualitative research with ethnographic design. Data collection methods used are observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The validity of the data in this study was tested by means of triangulation of data sources. The stages of data analysis techniques include determining informants, interviewing informants, making ethnographic notes, asking descriptive questions, analyzing interviews, creating domains, asking structural questions, making taxonomies, asking contrasting questions, finding cultural themes and writing ethnography. The results showed that marketing characteristics refer to a person's lifestyle on a regular basis so that behavior becomes consistent and easy to notice. Marketing characteristics are related to product quality, selling price, promotion and distribution channels. Every buyer's behavior in purchasing garut chips can be seen from the characteristics of consumers based on gender, age and occupation. Loyal consumers in general will make repeated purchases of products even though they are faced with many alternative choices of competing products that offer superior product characteristics. The best service provided to consumers is important for the advancement of the Sumber Fortune Industry.
