Abstract

Nabillah Umami, I000170142. The Influence of Brand Image, Product Quality, Religious Belief, Trust, on Halal Nail Polish Purchase Decisions: Halal Label as Intermediary Variable. Sharia Economic Law. Faculty of Islamic Religion. Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. Indonesia is a country that has the largest number of Muslims from other countries in the world. Various kinds of halal products used by consumers, one of which is cosmetics. Nail polish (nail polish) that wraps around the nails is usually water-repellent so it cannot be used for ablution. Muslim women only use polish when they are absent or during menstruation, with the new innovation, namely "ablution-friendly" or Muslimah halal nail polish that can be used every day. This study aims to determine what variables influence consumer decisions in buying halal nail polish products using the Structural Equating Modeling (SEM) method. The sample technique used is purposive sampling taken from 268 respondents who were processed using SPSS and AMOS applications. The results of this study indicate that brand image has a negative effect on the halal label, product quality has a negative effect on the halal label, religious belief has a negative effect on the halal label, and trust has a positive effect on the halal label. Meanwhile, brand image has a negative effect on purchasing decisions, and trust has a positive effect on purchasing decisions.
