Abstract

Education is currently experiencing obstacles. Due to the corona virus which has an impact on educational institutions. The government has taken a strategic step by temporarily closing schools to prevent the risk of contagion of COVID-19. By implementing online learning at home. So there is a demand for educators to master communication technology in learning. One of the external factors that affect learning achievement is the learning tools used, namely learning media. At SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Wuryantoro, they have carried out online learning during the pandemic using Google classroom, especially in the subjects of the Qur'an. Success in using the media well in learning, can improve student achievement results. On the other hand, if the use of media is not implemented properly, then student achievement will decrease. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether there is a positive and significant relationship between online learning in the Google classroom and the learning achievement of the class X Qur'an at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Wuryantoro.This study aims to identify the relationship between Google classroom online learning and the learning achievement of the tenth grade Al-Qur'an at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Wuryantoro. This type of research is field research. Using quantitative research, namely research using statistics according to research instruments to test the variables studied. Data collection methods are questionnaires, documentation, interviews and observations. The results of the research obtained are the normality data analysis test using the Shapiro-Wilk test obtainedthe significance value of online learning is 0.011 and the significance value of learning achievement is 0.121. So the significance value <0.05 means that this data is not normally distributed. So that hypothesis testing can be directly carried out using non-parametric statistics. Hypothesis testing using the Kendall's tau correlation test obtained a significant value of 0.260 0.05 so that the working hypothesis or H1 was rejected and H0 was accepted with a correlation coefficient of 0.144, so there was a positive relationship. It was concluded that in this study there was an insignificant positive relationship between online learning in the Google classroom and the learning achievement of the X-grade Qur'an at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Wuryantoro.
