Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the management of the Kitagawa Pesona Bali tourist attraction in Patoman village, Sidoharjo district, and to find out the factors of internal and external obstacles in the management of tourism objects, as well as the solutions used in overcoming internal and external obstacles in the management of these attractions. qualitative research method with ethnographic research design, data sources used primary data and secondary data, data collection techniques obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through the process of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that in the management of the Kitagawa Pesona Bali tourist attraction, the community has not been fully involved in its management. In its management, economic impacts include the emergence of new business opportunities, the development of new livelihood systems and a decrease in the unemployment rate. Cultural impacts work together to maintain the statue and pure buildings because this tourist attraction was built with Balinese cultural nuances. There are internal and external obstacles in the management of the Kitagawa Pesona Bali tourist attraction, namely internal barriers to employees who do not come to work and the occurrence of miscommunication of instructions, for external obstacles to the presence of COVID-19 which requires closing the Kitagawa Pesona Bali tourist attraction due to following the advice of the government. The solutions to overcome internal and external obstacles are for internal barriers using daily employees and conducting training to employees, and using HT in conveying information as well as conducting regular meetings and conducting training related to communication matters that can provide knowledge to minimize problems that occur in communication. For solutions to external obstacles, the manager submits a restaurant permit to the licensing office which can later be used to reopen the Kitagawa charm Bali tourist attraction.
