Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of guidance for female prisoners in the Class II.A Women's Prison Semarang. This research belongs to the type of empirical legal research. This research was conducted in the Class II.A Women's Prison in Semarang. Sources of data using primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques using observation and literature study. Data analysis used qualitative data analysis and content analysis to then draw deductive conclusions. Based on the research, it is shown that the implementation of the development of female prisoners in the Class II.A Women's Prison in Semarang is to provide services that have been adjusted to the provisions of the penitentiary legislation, the law on the implementation of coaching and also the law on the rights of the inmates. The obstacles that occur in the implementation of the development of female prisoners. This causes the officers in carrying out the training of prisoners to be constrained by the problems that arise.
