Abstract

The purpose of this study is to causality analisys between growth economic and number of poor people in Indonesian period 1999-2020. This study uses the variables of economic growth and the number of poor people. Data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Indonesia. The analytical method used in this study is the Granger method. This method is used to determine the pattern of the relationship between two variables. The results of this study indicate that economic growth has no effect on the number of poor people and the number of poor people does not affect economic growth.
