Abstract
Character education is highly importance due to the youth generation in Indonesia of decreased tolerance spirit and solidarity in social care in community. The study aimed to describe the implementation of socialization of cooperation value by playing video and to describe the improvement of social care attitude of adolescence belonging to youth organization Dukuh Kwojo Sukoharjo in 2019 after having socialization of cooperation through video by modifying strategy of Answer Gallery and Snowball Throwing. The method of the study was mixed that was qualitative data analysis was used as supporting analysis and to answer the first research problem, and quantitative data analysis was used to answer the second research problem. The population of the study was adolescence in dukuh Kwojo Kabupaten Sukoharjo reported as member of karang taruna, by using purposive sampling consisting of 20 adolescences as subject of the experiment of socializing cooperation value through video by modifying strategy of Answer Gallery and Snowball Throwing. The qualitative data analysis was conducted by exploration and the quantitative one was done by using paired t-test. Result of teh study showed that : first, the implementation of socialization of cooperation valued through video by modifyng strategy of Answer Gallery and Snowball Throwing have been conducted through steps, namely 1) having pretest using questionaire, 2) giving treatment by playing video video with social care theme, and 3) having posttest using questionaire, and 4) analyzing data with number of subject of 20 adolecences as member of karang taruna. Second, improving care attitude of cooperation through video by modifyng strategy of Answer Gallery and Snowball Throwing, was proved by t-test showing that the score or difference in improvement between pre- and post- video playing was significant. The concluding remark was that socialization of cooperation value through video in theme of social care attitude by modifyng strategy of Answer Gallery and Snowball Throwing improved understanding of member of youth organization about adolescence social care.
