Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of job pressure and salary incompatibility on turnover intention on factory workers in karangpakel village, trucuk district, klaten regency. This type of research uses quantitative methods. The research design used is causal comparative. The population in this research were all residents in Karangpakel Village, Trucuk District, Klaten Regency who worked as a factory workers totaling 112 people. Samples were taken of as many as 88 people. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. The data analysis technique used inferential statistics, it is parametric statistical analysis with multiple regression analysis (t test and F test) and the coefficient of determination and the effect contribution of the variables. The result of this research found that job pressure has a positive effect with the acquisition of tarithmetic value of 6,017 >ttable 1,66277 and significant with a significance value of 0,000, salary incompatibility has a positive effect with the acquisition of a negative tarithmetic value of -5,060 > ttable -1,66277 and significant with a significance value of 0,000, as well as job pressure and salary incompatibility together have a significant effect of turnover intention with the acquisition of a calculated Fvalue of 56,591> Ftable of 3,10. With the R square value of 0,571, it means that the two independent variables have a contribution of 57,1% to dependent variable with X1 contributing 32% and X2 by 25% while the remaining 42,9% is influenced by other variables not researched in this research.
