Abstract

The management of facilities and infrastructure is a very important activity in schools, because their existence will greatly support the success of the learning process in schools. The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) planning, 2) procurement, 3) inventory, 4) maintenance and 5) elimination of facilities and infrastructure in increasing the accreditation of MTs Negeri Salatiga. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation study. The research subjects were school principals, vice principals, school committees, and teachers. The results showed: 1) Planning was carried out by the principal together with school personnel to compile a list of school facilities and infrastructure needs according to school needs and existing capital or potential. 2) Procurement is carried out based on predetermined needs planning. Schools prepare proposals before making procurement. 3) Inventory by providing inventory books, purchase books, write-off books, and goods cards. 4) Maintenance by appointing several school personnel for routine and incidental maintenance of facilities and infrastructure. 5) Abolition is carried out if it meets certain conditions, such as: if the facility is old or severely damaged, it costs a lot if repaired, no longer in accordance with current needs.
