Abstract

This study analyzes how the Islamic Law Review Against the Sale and Purchase of Carrots by Slashing Way in Lencoh Village (Case Study on Carrot Slashers in Lencoh Village, Selo District, Boyolali Regency). The purposes of this study are: 1) To find out how the practice of buying and selling carrots by slashing way in Lencoh Village, Selo District, Boyolali Regency. 2) To find out the view of Islamic law on buying and selling carrots by slashing way in Lencoh Village, Selo District, Boyolali Regency. The researcher used qualitative research methods. As for the type of research, which is used by the researcher is field research. There are two kinds of data sources used by researchers: Primary data sources used by the researcher in this study are direct interviews with parties who carry out slashing transactions or carrot buyers by slashing way in Lencoh Village, Selo District, Boyolali Regency. Secondary data is in the form of a literature review from books, journals, web, and previous research that discusses the same topic as what the researcher is studying. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. In this case, the researcher analyzes and interprets the data using a descriptive analysis method with a deductive pattern. The results of this study can be concluded that: 1) The implementation of the practice of buying and selling carrots by slashing way in Lencoh Village, Selo District, Boyolali Regency, the transaction is very easy, namely only by surveying the carrot fields to be cut. Then the slasher and the seller measure the area of the land and remove some carrots to be used as samples to estimate the total price of the carrots. The buyer gives money to the seller which has been agreed upon by the two parties at the time the contract takes place. 2) In accordance with Islamic law, the sale and purchase of carrots by slashing carried out by the community in Lencoh Village, Selo District, Boyolali Regency are invalid or invalid in the practice of buying and selling under Islamic law. Even though the sale and purchase have fulfilled the legal pillars of the sale and purchase, there is still one condition for the validity of the sale and purchase that has not been fulfilled, namely the object of the contract.
