Abstract

WFH certainly has the same obligations and responsibilities as working from the office. However, in practice, the implementation of WFH turns out to have challenges and obstacles that are not easy, because not all fields of work can be done from home. This study aims to measure and analyze WFO and WFH, compare the mental workload of WFO and WFH, and provide suggestions for improvement based on Ergonomic Self Assessment. This study uses the NASA-TLX method with the results when WFO obtained a total WWL value of 2572,96 with the highest indicator being performance and at WFH the total WWL value was 4105,28 with the highest indicator being the level of frustration. For the time being, WFH is higher than WFO with an average value of WWL, WFO is 45,94 in the medium category and WFH is 73,30 in the high category. Ergonomic Self Assessment then obtained recommendations for improvement in the form of table or chair arrangements that make it comfortable such as adding a backrest to the chair, adding a waist cushion, using a footrest that is used to lift the leg. Adjust the position of the keyboard, mouse and monitor. Rearrange the workplace so that there is room under your feet so your feet can move freely without fear of tripping. Wear a headset to increase focus at work and organize necessary documents near the workplace.
