Abstract

Transformer is a device that can increase of decreae a voltage. The transformer used in the diesel power genertion system at Ppsdm Migas Cepu is a power transformer. Power transformer generally have power losses in operation. Transformer 13 supplies 4 commponents which include WPS 1 pump, WPS 2 pump, boiler pump and CP pump, so it is necessary to check the loss regularly so that it is monitored and there is no too bis loss. The determine the power loss and efficiency of tranformer 13 with a capacity of 630 kVA under loading, measurements were made on the primary side 6,1 kV and the secondary side 380 Volt with reference to secondary data. From the measurement of the increase in efficiency when the load increases. The method used is manual calculation, measurement, ETAP and SPLN 50 application. The manual calculation method uses the power loss formula, the measurement method is based on secondary data, the ETAP application method uses a single line diagram of the distribution system to transformer 13 and the SPLN 50 method to compare with other methods. The method used. There are differences between calculation, measurement and step calculation. However, the difference is not too big where the power loss based on the calculation is 2,56 kW, ETAP is 2,1 kW and the measurment is 2,17 kW. For efficiency based on calculations and measurements, it is considered good with 97,54% based on calculation and 86,16% based on measurements.
