Abstract

The availability and continuity of electric power to customers must be considered and improved. So it is necessary to review and evaluate the reliability of the electric power distribution system. The reliability of the electric power distribution system is determined as the ability to deliver electricity without interruption to consumers. This study aims to determine the level of reliability of the 20 kV distribution system on the feeder from PT PLN ULP Palur uses mathematical calculations and simulations using ETAP software, using the SAIFI (System Average Interruption Frequency Index) reliability index and SAIDI (System Average Interruption Duration Index). This research uses SPLN No. 59:1985 and IEEE std 1366:2003 as the standard of reliability level. From the research, the reliability value of the SAIFI index system is 2.2116 times/consumer/year and SAIDI is 4.4567 hours/consumer/year. For comparison, a comparison was made between mathematical calculations and simulations using ETAP software on the PLR.14 feeder, to determine the difference in reliability analysis in calculations and simulations and obtained results with a difference of 0.0876 for the SAIFI index and 0.6721 for the SAIDI index.
