Abstract

Dian Putri Yulianti / A210150151. Accounting Education Study Program. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta, 2021. This study aims to determine the application of True or False learning strategies to improve student learning outcomes in class X Accounting at SMK Batik 2 Surakarta. The research subjects were teachers and students of class X Accounting at SMK Batik 2 Surakarta, totaling 23 students. The form of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The procedure of this research includes the following stages: identification of problems, preparation, preparation of action plans, implementation of actions, observations, and preparation of plans. The research process was carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Sources of data in this study are teachers and students. Data collection techniques used through observation, tests, and documentation. The results showed an increase in student achievement in accounting in Basic Accounting subjects. This increase can be seen from the acquisition of performance scores through Google From and the results of student observations that increase from cycle I and cycle II. In the first cycle of the first meeting the average value of student learning outcomes that were completed was 9 students (39.00%) the second meeting rose to 15 students (65.00%), in the second cycle the first meeting rose to 20 students (87.00% ) and the second cycle of the second meeting increased to 23 students (100%). This proves that the True or False learning strategy is able to improve student learning outcomes in Accounting in Basic Accounting subjects at Batik 2 Surakarta Vocational School for the 2020/2021 Academic Year.
