Abstract

The Jatisrono-Jatiroto road section is the main route connecting Jatisrono District with Jatiroto District using flexible pavement. High traffic volume causes a decrease in road quality, it is necessary to re-evaluate to find out specific road conditions using the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method. After the PCI value is known, it can provide the right repair solution so that an economical cost budget value is obtained. This study uses primary data and secondary data, to find primary data by conducting a visual survey by viewing and analyzing the damage. Dividing the road segment in a sample of 5 x 100 meters in each segment which is then evaluated by knowing the type, level, and quantity of damage to get the PCI value. The PCI value is used as a reference to determine the handling of damage that is guided by the 1995 Highways and calculate the cost of repairs. Based on the analysis of flexible pavement damage using the PCI method on the Jatisrono-Jatiroto road, Wonogiri Regency, the PCI value was 46.40% which means it is in the fair category. The types of damage that occurred were crocodile skin cracks, checkered cracks, holes, patches, longitudinal/transverse cracks, and grain release, with the dominant damage being patches with a damage area of 5011.11 m2. For repair costs using AHS Wonogiri Regency in 2020 it cost Rp 158,598,496.60.
