Abstract

Poverty is a condition of a person or family who cannot fulfill their basic needs. The level of household welfare is closely related to poverty, because poverty itself can describe the welfare condition of a household or family in the area. This study aims to determine the total income and level of household welfare of alcohol home industry craftsmen in Bekonang Village and to determine the distribution of alcohol production marketing. This research is quantitative descriptive. The population in this study were families of home alcohol industry craftsmen in Bekonang Village, amounting to 47 craftsmen. The sampling technique used non-probability sampling with saturated sampling technique. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis using frequency tables and cross tables, while also using GIS analysis for the distribution of alcohol marketing. The results of this study indicate that the level of household welfare of alcohol home industry craftsmen in Bekonang Village as measured by the BKKBN indicator in the Pre-Prosperous Family (KPS) category is 72.34%. The total income of home industry alcohol craftsmen is in the medium category, namely Rp. 1,666,667 - Rp. 2,683,333 (49.93%), but this income is still below the UMR of Sukoharjo Regency. The distribution of alcohol marketing is still not developed so that the income obtained from alcohol is also still low.
