Abstract

The background of this research is the minimum of human understanding of Islamic education. Currently, many modern people understand Islam only in moderation but do not understand the true values of Islam. The values of Islamic education are an understanding that has been achieved from the effort to believe and follow the rules or norms of the Islamic religion so that it can be realized in everyday life. Islamic education has existed since the time of the "Nabi" and "Rasul" so that the Ummah of the "Nabi" and "Rasul" can take lessons or lessons from the story. One of the stories is the story of “Nabi Ibrahim”, he is known as the father of the “Nabi”, so many things can be learned from his story. There are many Surahs and verses that discuss the story of “Nabi Ibrahim”, one of which is Q.S Ibrahim 35-41 and Q.S Maryam 42-48. The story of “Nabi Ibrahim”, contains the values of Islamic education that should be imitated, namely the Values of Faith, Worship and Morals. This study aims to describe the Islamic religious education material contained in the story of “Nabi Ibrahim” in the Q.S Ibrahim 35-41 and Q.S Maryam 42-48 and describe what character values are contained in the story of the “Nabi Ibrahim” so that they can be applied in daily life. This type of research is qualitative. A research that focuses on text and documentation with a qualitative research paradigm. The primary data sources of this research are Tafsir al-Quranul 'Adzhim and Tafsir Fi Zilalil Qur'an while the secondary data are books, journals and scientific works that contain substances related to the research theme. The analytical method used is content analysis. The object of this research is the story of the “Nabi Ibrahim” in the Q.S Ibrahim 35-41 and Q.S Maryam 42-48 according to Ibn Kathir and Sayyid Qutb. The results of the study indicate that (1) There are Islamic education materials in learning, namely aqidah material, worship material and moral material. In this case, Ibn Kathir and Sayyid Qutb explain the material of Islamic education in the Q.S Ibrahim verses 35-41 and Q.S Maryam 42-48 (2) There are values of Islamic education in the story of “Nabi Ibrahim” in the Q.S Ibrahim 35-41 and Q.S Maryam 42-48, namely the Value of Obedience, Value of Concern, Value of Firmness, Value of Tolerance, Value of Responsibility, Value of Honesty, Communicative Value, Value of Politeness, and Value of Istiqomah.
