Abstract

Transportation or commonly referred to as transportation, is a very important field of activity in the daily life of Indonesian people. Along with rapidly developing technological advances that increase the need for transportation services, many transportation companies have sprung up. One of them is PT. Go-Jek Indonesia. The problem that then arises is regarding the implementation of the goods delivery service offered by Go-Jek whether it is in accordance with the laws and regulations in force in Indonesia and Go-Jek's responsibility for the loss of consumer goods as users of Go-Send goods delivery services. This study uses a normative juridical approach whose primary data source is Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation and Goverment Regulation Number 74 of 2014 concerning road transportation and secondary data sources are other data which are all publications on law that are not official documents using normative research types. From this research, it is found that the implementation of Go-Send Go-Jek Indonesia services is included in the activities of transporting general goods which in its implementation is not in accordance with the Traffic and Road Transport Law as well as the Road Transport Government Regulation and the responsibilities given by PT. Go-Jek Indonesia to consumers is to provide compensation in the form of proper insurance for errors or failures in using Go-Jek's Go-Send services.
