Abstract

Due to the limited supply of electrical energy from PLN, other sources of electrical energy are needed that can be used by the community as a solution from dependence on electricity needs from PLN. One way to overcome this is by utilizing alternative electrical energy generators. Alternative energy that can be used as a simple household power plant is a power plant from pedaling a bicycle pedaled from human power. Energy use along with the increasing population is now increasing so that it is required to fulfill it, around there are sources of energy that can be utilized for human needs in everyday life which requires electrical energy. One of them is a bicycle, the bicycle used by the community is of many kinds and types, one of which is a static bicycle, a static bicycle is a type of tool that can be used for energy. Where this research aims to design and manufacture a mechanical device on a static bicycle which produces electricity with a generator energy source and to find out how the tool works. In this study, the method used is the design method which includes several stages, namely analyzing what is needed, designing a circuit system, making tools, and testing how the tools work. This tool works using a human power source by swinging a static bicycle to turn on the tool which can then rotate a generator to produce electrical energy which is stored in the battery.
