Abstract

In the ministerial regulation number 65 of 2013 concerning the standard of primary and seceondary education processes that the learning process must be carried out in an interactive, inspiring, fun and challenging manner. Therefore it is important to determine the appropriate and appropried learning startegies. Active learning strategy that is deemed in accordance with the Educational Standards of the Minister of education and Culture. This strategy is not just as active as the name suggests but also interactive and fun. Beside that, by applaying several methods of active learning strategies such as everyone is teacher here, question student have, the power of two and jigsaw learning then it can help increase the activeness of students both physically, mentally and psychomotor, especially in date lessons. With the title implementing the active lerning strategy in dating subjects in 7th grade students of Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta. This study aims to describe the application of active learning strategies in active learning in the classroom. With this type of research, namely field research in order to obtain accuracy in investigating objective symptoms that occur at the research location. The research method used is qualitative research that produces descriptive data. Data collection was done by interviewing the islamic religious education teacher, curriculum teacher and students as resource persons. The method of observation is done by direct observation in class and documentation in the form of data collection in the form of RPP, textbook and other relevant documents. Data analysis was performed through data reduction, presentation of data and drawing conclusions. Research result show that the application of the active learning strategy at Muhammadiyah 5 Junior High School in Surakarta is in accordance with the standard SOP. With a learning design that is in accordance with the procedure as well as the implementation of learning in accordance with the lesson plan. By applaying the method of the active learning strategy in the form of jigsaw learning, which fosters a responsible and confident character. The power of two method that instills an independent and tolerant attitude. The everyone is teacher here method that trains to think creatively and question student have method which teaches to think critically and thoroughly. So that the application of the active learniing strategy in the learning process produces student who reflect the character of active learning.
