Abstract

This paper analyzes the personality of the main character faced in the film ”The Pursuit of Happynes”. Based on the problems, this paper is intended to analyze the personality of the main character in dealing with the problems faced in his life and how he solves the problem. This research The data collection method used in this case is the library method. Two data sources in this study are primary and secondary data source. Primary data sources consist of formal materials and objects. Daddy is the head of the household, as a head of the household, the role of Daddy is important in fostering the integrity of the household and making money for the daily needs of household life. Not only that, Daddy also have an important role to educate, teach morals and set an example for our child to be a strong, strong man and responsible for the problems experienced and never give up with the problems. The problem can be financial problems, household problems or other problems. Chris Gardner faces these problems. And with the personality he has he becomes a tough guy who will solve every problem he faces.
