Abstract

Background:Workers from various types and fields of work are definitely required to have good performance and high productivity. However, this can actually lead to physical health problems for workers. One of them is a musculoskeletal disorder commonly known as Work Related Musculoskeletal Disorder's (WRMD's). This disorder does not escape attacking a physiotherapist, many are required to work optimally with high physical activity. Objective: To determine the prevalence of Work Related Musculoskeletal Disorder's (WRMD's) based on individual and occupational factors of physiotherapists. Methods: This study uses a qualitative method where the researcher will describe the condition of the Work Related Musculoskeletal Disorder's (WRMD's) complaints through a randomly distributed questionnaire, then processed and analyzed in order to obtain conclusions as a result of the study. The questionnaire used in this study is the Nordic Body Map questionnaire, which functions to determine the location of complaints related to musculoskeletal problems among respondents. This questionnaire consists of 4 levels of pain (no pain, a little aching, aching, very painful) at 28 points of the body. Results: The highest prevalence of Work Related Musculoskeletal Disorder's (WRMD's) experienced by 100 respondents was located at the waist with a percentage of 5.1%, followed by the back of 4.9%, and the lower neck with a percentage of 4.8%. Based on the level of risk obtained from this study, it shows that as many as 87 respondents have a low level of risk so that no corrective action is needed to be taken on the respondent.
