Abstract

Ancient texts save a lot of knowledge that can be studied at the present time. Manuscriptor ancient texts are the most authentic sources of knowledge. Thairu Al-Farkhiis an ancient manuscript which have big contribution in the spread of mahdhah worship education in the Malay Archipelago land. HPT Muhammadiyah book is the set of decisions of the Tarjih and Tajdid Assembly, the leaders of Muhammadiyah center as guide for Muhammadiyah people in carrying out mahdahworship and progressing Islamic da’wah movements. Mahdhah worship education in Thairu Al-Farkhi manuscript and in HPT book inherit the reality of diversity education which contains comparison. Diversity in mahdahworship education contains in those two phenomenal works is expected to have implications for the diversity of worship activities practiced by Muslim communities si as to create harmony in religion. The writing of this thesis is aimed to describe the similarities and differences and to analyze the diversity of mahdahworship education in those two-precious manuscript. This thesis is a library research which is descriptive analysis. In this thesis, the research approach used is critical philology and theology approaches. The result of this research is that Thairu Al-Farkhi is an ancient manuscript contains mahdhah worship guidance based on Al-Qur’an and As-Sunnah written by the author for message of the Muslims and contains tanawuk principle in worship (plurality). While HPT book is a Muhammadiyah da’wah organization work that is sustainable and contains mahdhah worship education for Muhammadiyah people as embodiment of progressive Islamic education based on two main sources of Al-Qur’an and As-Sunnah Al-Maqbulah and contains diversity education in mahdahworship education. Thairu Al-Farkhi in HPT book contains diversity, variations, and difference in mahdahworship education which complementary insights in order to realize a harmonious Muslis society. In Thairu Al-Farkhi manuscript taught to always be sincere in carrying out worship because Allah subhanahu wata’ala is only and not allowed to reproach each other against differences between madzhab. While in HPT book taught about diversity of mahdhah worship education process through critical study of Al-Qur’an and As-Sunnah Al-Shahihah (Al-Maqbbullah) review.
