Abstract
Conflict management is a process in which parties involved in the conflict developing conflict strategies and implementing them in order to produce the decisions desired by the parties. In early marriage couples, it is not unusual for conflicts to occur which then cause them to break up and not last long. The purpose of this study is to find out how good conflict management is carried out by early marriage couples in Banjarnegara Regency. This is a qualitative descriptive study using interview as the data collection technique. Researcher interviewed 6 adults or 3 early marriage couples in Banjarnegara Regency who married for at least 2 years. Result of this study shows that there are four ways carried out by early marriage couples in managing conflict, namely openness, negotiation of decisions and attitudes, situational control, and assistance from otherparties.
