Abstract

Pregnancy is a condition in which a woman is carrying a fetus in her womb which is the result of fertilization of sperm cells and eggs. Posture is a position that just happens unconsciously. During pregnancy, changes in posture occur continuously, this posture change aims to maintain balance in pregnant women. In addition to changes in posture during pregnancy, pregnant women feel achy or often painful limbs. As the gestational age increases, the pain felt by pregnant women is getting heavier. Pain that is often felt by pregnant women is low back pain. As many as 38% to 78% of pregnant women experience low back pain. This incident interferes with the daily activities of pregnant women. Objective: to determine the relationship between changes in posture and low back pain in pregnant women. Methods: using literature review, the author reviews 4 journals. Choose a good quality journal with Quartile index Q1. Results: pregnancy has an effect on changes in posture and low back pain in pregnant women. Conclusion: from four journals reviewed, pregnancy can cause changes in posture and complaints of low back pain that can interfere with daily activities in pregnant women.
