Abstract
Purpose of research,(1) Testing the contribution of decision making, attitudes, and personalities to the results of learning mathematics indirectly through learning independence,(2) Testing the contribution of decision making, attitudes and personalities to the independence of learning,(3) Test the contribution of self-reliance to mathematics learning outcomes. This research uses a type of quantitative research. The population in this study was 209 students of grade VIII SMPN 1 Sambi. The sample in this study as many as 137 students were determined using Slovin formula. Sampling used is proportional random sampling. Data collection techniques using closed documentation and questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used are path analysis with F test assumption test, t-test and R2 test.(1) The results of research, decision making, attitudes and personalities do not contribute simultaneously to the results of learning mathematics through the independence of learning,(2) decision-making, attitudes and personalities contributed simultaneously to independence by 34.6%. Partial decision making did not contribute to self-reliance, attitudes contributed to the independence of learning 6.9169%, and personality contributed to self-reliance by 15.0544%,(3) self-reliance does not contribute to the results of learning mathematics.
