Abstract

Sports are physical activities that are used to maintain body fitness and control body weight. Burning calories in the body is influenced by several factors such as exercise intensity and body weight. This study aims to determine the calories the body burns when using a platinum static bike with a 3 respondent test method where each respondent does 6 experiments with 2 different speeds. After collecting the data, then looking for the difference between each respondent's results to find out whether the change in calories from each respondent gets the same results based on the distribution, then the calculation is done to divide the calorie results by the body weight of each respondent. The results show that with a speed of 30 km / h and a body weight of 70 kg burns 398.47 cal calories, 64 body weight burns 398.47 cal, and a body weight 54 burns 332.01 cal. Speed of 20 km / hour body weight 45 kg calories burned by 321.29 cal, 64 kg body weight is 383.89 cal and 70 kg body weight is 432.35 cal. The difference between the speed of 30 km / hour for respondent A and respondent B is 0.23, the difference between respondent B and respondent C is 0.08 and the difference between respondent A and respondent C is 0.31. The difference between the speed of 20 km / hour for respondent A and respondent B is 0.18, respondent B and respondent C is 0.05, while the difference between respondent A and respondent C is 0.23. Each respondent experienced a change in calorie burn that was relatively the same.
