Abstract

Islamic religious education is physical and spiritual guidance based on Islamic religious laws towards the formation of a personality according to Islamic standards. Education has an important role in the process of transferring knowledge and the process of instilling values. The values contained in Islamic education are I'tiqadiyyah, Khuluqiyah, and Amaliyah values. The process of transferring knowledge and the process of instilling values can not only be carried out in classroom education alone. But it can also be carried out in activities outside the classroom such as extracurricular activities. This study aims to describe the values of Islamic religious education that can be implemented in extracurricular activities of the Youth Red Cross (PMR) at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta and SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta and describe what are the driving and inhibiting factors for the extracurricular activities of the Youth Red Cross (PMR) in SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta and SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta. The type of this research is qualitative. The subjects of this study were the headmaster, scout coaches, and deputy of the headmaster division of student affairs. The object of this research is SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta and SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta. The results of this research are: (1) the values of Islamic education reflected in PMR extracurricular activities at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta were khuluqiyah values which were reflected in the activities of protecting the school environment and providing first aid, the value of amaliyah reflected in social service activities and meetings, the value I 'tiqodiyah is reflected in the activity of praying before starting the activity. Whereas at SMP Muhammadiyah 5 the value of khuluqiyah is reflected in the activities of providing first aid, the value of amaliyah is reflected in social service activities and meetings, the value of I'tiqodiyah is reflected in prayer activities before starting activities. (2) The supporting factors for PMR extracurricular activities at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta are infrastructure, peers, will of themselves. While the inhibiting factors for extracurricular activities are infrastructure, collisions with activities, transportation, and less attractive learning methods. The supporting factors for PMR extracurricular activities at SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta are infrastructure, peers, and willpower. While the inhibiting factors for extracurricular activities are infrastructure, collisions with activities, transportation, and less attractive learning methods.
