Abstract

Legal Responsibilities In the rental agreement to rent shophouses (shop houses), it contains the rental agreement between the shop owner and the shop tenants, which generally discusses their rights and responsibilities which are made in writing. The method used by the author is juridical normative, namely by examining the form and content of the lease agreement between the tenant and the party renting the shop house (Shop House) and legal responsibility if one of the parties makes a mistake on the basis of default and / or acts against the law. The results of the research that can be concluded from this research are that the implementation of the shop lease agreement between the shop owner and the shop tenant is in accordance with the provisions of article 1548 of the Civil Code. Based on the research results, the shop rental agreement (shop house) has been carried out properly by the parties according to the promised. There is no default or act against the law. Even so, if there is a party that defaults or acts against the law, the legal responsibility has been determined in the lease agreement.
