Abstract

Subgrade is very important as the foundation of the highway so that the subgrade layers of the Jagorawi reconstruction project are compacted back to support the layer above it. The subgrade CBR value was obtained by examining the CBR in-situ using a 60o conical angle DCP tool for practicality factor, then using the DCP correlation graphic the CBR value was obtained. This study aims to compare the CBR value with the DCP correlation graph with the CBR value using logarithmic functions, including the formulas of Webster, Kleyn, and Ardianto. The results showed that checking the CBR value with the DCP correlation graph method had an average value for line A 16.95% and line B 15.73%, while with the Webster formula line A 16.81% and line B 16.47%; with the Kleyn formula for line A 16.72% and line B 16.41%; and Ardianto line A 20.61% and line B 20.18. Based on the CBR value, it can be concluded that the CBR value with the DCP correlation graphic coincides with the Webster and Kleyn values, and has a significant difference with the results obtained with the Ardianto’s study.
