Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of parental support on Economic Learning Achievement in class XI students of SMA Batik 2 Surakarta academic year 2020/2021, both individually and collectively. This research was conducted at SMA Batik 2 Surakarta. The research method uses associative quantitative research because this research is to find the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable. The study population was all students of class XI SMA Batik 2 Surakarta in the academic year of 2013/2014, totaling 122 students with the total sample size of this study were 89 students of class XI SMA Batik 2 Surakarta. This research uses proportional random sampling technique. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis, t test (partial test), F test (simultaneous test) and determination coefficient test (R2) and Relative Contribution (SR) and Effective Contribution (SE). The results showed that the Parental Support variable was 4.064 while the t table was 1.988, so Ho was rejected so that there was a significant influence between Parental Support on Individual Economic Learning Achievement. The Learning Facility variable is 4.347 while the t table is 1.988, so Ho is rejected so that there is a significant influence between Learning Facilities on Individual Economic Learning Achievement. The results of the F test analysis obtained Fcount = 27.915> Ftable = 3.103, then Ho is rejected so that together there is a significant influence on Parental Support (X1), Learning Facilities (X2) on Economic Learning Achievement. From these results, it shows that the third hypothesis which states "There is an effect of Parental Support and Learning Facilities on the economic learning achievement of class XII Social Sciences students of SMA Batik 2 Surakarta for the academic year 2020/2021" is proven.
