Abstract

Abstract The background of people with hypertension is usually accompanied by insomnia or sleep disorders, this happens because of the number of times they often wake up at night and also they need time to be able to fall asleep again. The purpose of this study is to find out the picture of insomnia with hypertension that has complications or does not experience complications in the Working Area of Puskesmas Juwiring Klaten Regency. This type of research is quantitative research using descriptive design. The research population of all patients with hypertension in Prolanis Working Area of Puskesmas Juwiring Klaten Regency with a population of 69 respondents. The study sample of 37 respondents with hypertension who experienced complications and 32 respondents without complications obtained using total sampling techniques. Measuring instrument with questionnaire Questionnaire Of Biological Psychiatry Study Group Jakarta (KSPBJ)- Insomnia Rating Scale (IRS) and analysis of research data using descriptive analysis. The results showed the insomnia scale in people with hypertension with complications as many as 15 respondents (40.5%) mild insomnia. While the insomnia scale in people with hypertension that is not accompanied by complications showed the results of 20 respondents (62.5%) no symptoms of insomnia.
