Abstract

This final project plans to redesign the 100-meter span railway bridge with the Warren Truss type. Using profiles arranged by welding, which are called Welded Through Truss. The planning location is on the Luk Ulo River KM 449+900 between Karanganyar-Kebumen line Kroya-Kutuarjo. The public calls it the Renville Bridge, because this location has historically been the Renville Treaty Monument during the Dutch colonial period. The railway bridge with a span of 100 m in one span is the longest span in Indonesia. The bridge with a span of 100 m is intended to replace the existing bridge which originally consisted of 3 spans of 32 meters each and the construction of a new Railway Dauble Tracking. The loading regulations used are the Minister of Transportation Regulation No.60 of 2012 concerning the Technical Requirements for the Railway Line, the Office Regulation No.10 of 1986 for PT Kereta Api Indonesia, the 1921 load plan and the general regulations regarding bridges and iron pillars for Railways and tracks on Indonesia (A.V.B.P 1932). Method of calculating the adequacy of the dimensions of the steel frame profile using LFRD. The steel grade used is SM 490 with Yield Strength = 325 N / mm2 and Tensile Strength = 490 N / mm2. In connection with bolts using high strength bolts STB (Torque Shear Type High Strength Bolts) yield strength ≥ 900 N / mm2 and Tensile Strength = 1000 - 1200 N / mm2.
