Abstract

This study aims to 1) describe the principal's communication patterns in implementing learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at SD N 02 Pakembaran; 2) Describe the principal's communication techniques in implementing learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at SD N 02 Pakembaran; 3) Describe the use of the principal's communication media in implementing learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at SD N 02 Pakembaran. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive research design. Sources of data in the study were the results of observations, documentation, and interviews with school principals, teachers, guardians and students of SD N 02 Pakembaran. The validity of the data in this study used the triangulation of techniques and sources. The data analysis technique used is an interactive analysis technique using steps 1) data reduction; 2) data presentation; 3) data verification. The results showed that 1) the communication patterns used by the principal of SD N 02 Pakembaran in implementing learning during the Covid-19 pandemic were chain communication patterns; 2) the communication techniques used by the principal of SD N 02 Pakembaran in implementing learning during the Covid-19 pandemic were a) informative communication techniques; b) persuasive communication techniques; c) pervasive communication techniques; d) instructive communication techniques; 3) The media used by school principals in implementing learning during the Covid-19 pandemic are a) electronic media in the form of cellphones, laptops, and computers; b) the application media used are Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and WhatsApp.
