Abstract

COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019) is a disease caused by the new coronavirus Sars-CoV-2. WHO declared the Coronavirus 19 (COVID-19) pandemic. Central Java has the most cases of COVID-19 in Indonesia. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the government has implemented large-scale restrictions including maternal and newborn health services. One of the services that are limited to medical visits is ANC examination. The risk of spreading COVID-19 locally requires people to understand the impact of COVID-19 on pregnancy. The COVID-19 pandemic can affect women of childbearing age and pregnant women. The risk of spreading COVID-19 locally makes people aware of the impact of COVID-19, especially its impact on pregnancy. The purpose of this study was to describe the level of knowledge of women of childbearing age in Karangduren Village, Tengaran District about the effect of COVID-19 on pregnancy. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method. This study was conducted from November 2020 to January 2021, and involved 91 women of childbearing age aged 20-35 years. Using a sampling technique with purportional random sampling. This study used a questionnaire containing 22 questions. The data analysis used was descriptive statistics. The results showed that the level of knowledge of women of childbearing age was in the 20-35 year age group with the work group and undergraduate education or more. Thus it can be concluded that the level of knowledge of women of childbearing age in the Karangduren area, Tenggaran District is relatively good.
