Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe (1) teacher performance, (2) constraints in improving teacher performance, and (3) efforts made to improve teacher performance at SD Negeri 2 Metuk, Boyolali Regency during the Covid 19 pandemic. This research is a qualitative research with a case study approach. The data sources of this study are headmaster, teachers, students, and parents of students. The data obtained were analyzed with the stages of gathering information, reduction, presentation, and make conclusions. The results of this study can be concluded that: (1) the performance of teachers at SD Negeri 2 Metuk, Boyolali Regency increased during the Covid 19 pandemic, (2) the obstacles in improving teacher performance were the lack of mastery of ICT, student learning facilities, and parental assistance, (3) ) efforts made to improve teacher performance by increasing mastery of ICT, lending learning facilities for students, and arranging time for parental assistance.
