Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of international prices, tea production, real exchange rates, and Malaysian GDP on the value of Indonesia’s exports to Malaysia in 1984-2018. The data used is time series data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Directorate General of Plantations, and the Word Bank. The analysis model used in this study is a regression analysis Error Correction Model (ECM) developed by Engle-Granger (EG two-step model). The regression results show that in the short and long run the international price and tea production variables have a positive and significant effect. The real exchange rate variable in the short term has a negative and significant effect. The Malaysian GDP variable has a negative and significant effect un the long run on the value of Indonesia’s exports to Malaysia.
