Abstract

This study aims to describe the financial literacy of the community receiving UMKM and BLT programs in the Cerbonan environment, Karanganyar Regency. This type of research uses qualitative research with ethnographic research design. Research data were collected: interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that 1. Not all of the recipients of UMKM and BLT beneficiaries understand financial literacy as a whole. The community gets additional financial knowledge from family, friends, social media, electronic media, newspapers and the role of the PKK organization. 2. The results also show that some people have savings and are able to set aside their income for savings. 3. In this research, the community is quite well financed and can save money or save for future needs. 4. Some people also have credit (debt) to cover their shortcomings or for daily needs and usually repay them in installments or installments. In the eyes of some of the beneficiary community, this assistance was sufficiently nominal to increase business capital. effort. The payment system is carried out by installments or installments.
