Abstract

The pandemic case of COVID-19 (Corona Virus Disease 2019) was caused by SARS-CoV-2 (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2). Society is required to always live cleanly and keep a distance from other individuals. One way to prevent the virus is to diligently clean yourself, as well as items in the surrounding environment and the cleanliness of the hospital where it is prone to transmission to sick people. Medical personnel are one of the professions that are prone to COVID-19 because of their work which requires dealing directly with patients in hospitals affected by COVID-19. To help prevent transmission of medical personnel to patients, a SURYA-MU robot was created to help hospital staff to record patients, both personal data and patient body temperature data. Apart from being a transmission prevention measure, this robot helps save the work of medical personnel so that they no longer need to go around each patient's room to check patient data, oxygen and temperature. The robot is controlled automatically connected by the application installed on the smartphone. The robot uses a finger pulse oxymetry as a measure of oxygen saturation in the blood, the AMG 8833 thermal sensor as a body temperature gauge, and data checks that can be viewed using the SURYA-MU robot application. The robot is driven using a wheel drive DC motor, and the power supply is in the form of an adapter. The robot is equipped with a UV (Ultra Violet) lamp to maintain its sterility after use on the first patient which can then be used on the next patient. Testing of body temperature uses a comparison of the thermal sensor on the robot and the thermogun. Measurements were made 10 times each and an average error of 0.718% was obtained.
