Abstract

This study aims to determine the Student Exchange program at SDIT Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar, Knowing the Implementation of the Student Exchange Program at SDIT Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar and Knowing the Evaluation Results of the Student Exchange program at SDIT Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar using the CIPP model. This study focuses on evaluation with the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, and Product) model that occurs in student exchange programs at SDIT Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar. This study used a qualitative approach with the instruments used in data collection in this study were interviews and documentation. The results of the research that have been obtained are explained in several aspects, the first is the context aspect that the Student Exchange Program at SDIT Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar has a mission, namely that students who take part in the program will be more disciplined in time, layout and in sorting waste, and also train children are more independent in personal matters, such as washing clothes, washing dishes and preparing school utensils. This program is also in collaboration with the State of Malaysia, students are allowed to take lessons at the Methodist School of Nationality (P) 2. But before departure there was no foreign language training for students because there was already a Tour Guide. This program also aims for branding. The input aspect, the Student Exchange program at SDIT Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar has no scholarships, students who take this program use independent costs and there is no student selection, this is because the costs borne are independent costs. The schedule of activities during the Student Exchange program at SDIT Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar such as the Foster Parents Program, the School Visit Program and the Tour Visit. In the process aspect, the implementation of the student exchange program is in accordance with the schedule, namely the Foster Parents Program, the School Visit Program and Tourist Visits, but in reality the activities carried out are more tourist visits. And in the product aspect, the Student Exchange program evaluation at SDIT Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar is carried out daily during the program. The result is writing short stories published in the SDIT Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar magazine independently. From this activity, there has not been a Follow Up for students who have joined the Student Exchange program.
